Founder of the Arakimunisai Jikiden Ogawaryu Hyoho school in Poland. He was born and raised in the traditional family of Kansho-ryu Iai Hyoho school located in Himeji,the city well known with Himeji castle. The style he teaches derives from the old traditional school of Araki Munisai. Soke Masanori Ogawa had started his studies very early, just when he was a year old and able to walk. Taught by his mother( Soke Kita Kansho),at the age of 14 was already a teacher at the Kanshoryu school dojo. A professional and heir to the cultural achievements of his country,Soke Ogawa wants to share his knowledge with anyone who wants to learn about samurai, their knowledge and about Japanese tradition.<\/p>
Soke conducts trainings in person, teaches the same way as it is in his home in Japan. That allows to get acquainted not only with Iai techniques but also with a way of thinking similar to samurai. Ogawaryu Hyoho teaches self-discipline and shows the way to self-improvement, and the form has remained unchanged for centuries and is preserved to this days. There is no doubt that although the view around us has changed very much over the centuries, yet Masanori Ogawa is still a samurai and the heart of his school.
Soke Ogawa often repeats that life is fuller when you have passion, something you will be working on all your life. The pursuit of improvement gives a sense of pride and gives life a deeper meaning.<\/p>
 Soke also has a shihan degree in kenbu, a jun-shihan degree in Senbu.\u00a0 <\/span>Kenbu is the Japanese art of dancing with a sword and fans, but it also happens to use a yari, or a Japanese spear. Senbu is a Japanese art of dancing with a fan, or naginata, or a Japanese pole weapon.<\/span><\/p>
 Soke Masanori Ogawa also has a shihan degree in shigin, which is the recitation of Chinese and Japanese poems, one of the traditional arts of singing in Japan.\u00a0 <\/span>Kenbu and senbu is performed to the shigin rhythm, where the recited verses are also important and determine the entire choreography.\u00a0 <\/span>The artist captures the content of the shigin lines with his whole body.<\/span><\/p>
